Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner
Dr. Salinas is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner® in New York City. He specializes in the treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of neuro-muscular skeletal injuries. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the Binghamton University. He continued his training at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic where he graduated with honors with the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. He was trained in a variety of traditional and modern chiropractic and physiotherapy techniques. His patients include athletes from amateur to professional levels, as well as everyday computer and desk job workers.
Dr. Salinas is a full-body certified Active Release Techniques® (A.R.T.) practitioner in New York City. A.R.T is an effective treatment method to reduce soft tissue problems. This New York City chiropractor also practices Graston Technique® and he is a member of the Ironman preferred provider network.
Dr. Salinas’ unique blend of gentle, yet effective, treatment techniques has helped hundreds of patients improve the quality of their lives, by increasing function and reducing pain. In addition to his practice, Dr. Salinas is the founder of the Form & Function Academy (www.formfxn.com), and has been an adjunct professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Berkeley College, and a lecturer for corporate wellness programs.
Brian LoTempio, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. LoTempio is a licensed chiropractor, specializing in musculoskeletal pain syndromes, athletic performance, and injury recovery. He grew up in Rochester, NY, and attended Binghamton University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Soon after, he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College, where he obtained an advanced certification in Sports Science and Human Performance, and became a member of the Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Honor Society.
As a collegiate soccer player, Dr. LoTempio spent hundreds of hours in the training room rehabbing an assortment of injuries, and has implemented his own personal experience, with clinical knowledge, and educational training into his individualized treatments.
Dr. LoTempio views the human body as an interconnected web, which is in constant motion, and treats using Active Release Technique®, Functional Range Conditioning®, FAKTR® and an array of other soft tissue techniques. He implements rehabilitation and corrective exercises to actively improve his patients’ movement patterns, and overall functionality. When out of the office, Dr. LoTempio can be found listening to live music, at a yoga studio, in a local café, or running through the streets of New York checking out the local street art.
Gabriella Ovalle, B.S.
Office Manager/Director of Education
Gabriella has a Bachelors of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. She has worked in many different settings, including physical therapy and chiropractic. She hopes to become certified as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist.
